Carlton Wells

Carlton Wells, a Professor Emeritus of English at the University of Michigan, was the faculty representative for the Evans Scholars at the University. He was a three time Michigan Amateur Champion, being victorious in 1922, 1923, and 1925. In 1923, Wells also won the Detroit District Club Champions title. Elected to the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame in 1987.
