Charles "Chuck" Kocsis

The finest amateur golfer in Michigan history, Chuck was Captain of the two University of Michigan NCAA Championship Teams and winner of the 1936 NCAA Individual Championship. Chuck won six Michigan Amateur titles and two Michigan Opens. He played on 3 Walker Cup Teams, was low amateur in two Masters, and twice low amateur in the U.S. Open. Elected to the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame in 1982.  Named GAM player of the century.
