Dave Hill

A Jackson native, Hill won the 1959 Michigan Open before turning to the PGA Tour, where he was very successful. During his career, Hill won more than $1 million in official prize money and captured 12 titles, including the Danny Thomas Memphis Classic four times. He won the Vardon Trophy in 1969 and was a member of three U.S. Ryder Cup Teams. Elected to the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame in 1985.
