Michigan Golf Hall of Fame Inductees  

Ed Ervasti

Ed was a good player in Missouri , Utah , Michigan and, later, Canada . He won the Michigan Pulinx and The Michigan Amateur in 1947 and was runner up in the Amateur in 1953 and 1954. He qualified for 5 USGA Championships including 3 USGA Opens. Also he was the low amateur in the Western Open twice. After he moved to Ontario , he won the Canadian Sr. Am and on five occasions was Ontario Sr. Am Champion. Ed shot a 63 when he was 65 years old and since then has shot his age or better over 2500 times. He was elected to the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame in 1990.
