Michigan Golf Hall of Fame Inductees
Leo Deigel The winner of the first two Michigan Opens, Diegel was a native Detroiter who won 16 important golf titles. He captured four Canadian Opens and was the 1928 and 1929 National PGA Champion. Diegel was a member of four U.S. Ryder Cup Teams. He is also enshrined in the PGA Hall of Fame. Elected to the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame in 1985. |
