The Michigan Golf Foundation Collection

Along with portraits and plaques of all its members, the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame retains an impressive collection of clubs, artifacts and memorabilia, donated by Hall of Fame members.

The collection includes such notable items as: Chuck Kocsis’s mallet putter that he used to win the 1930 Michigan Amateur, the first of his record six Amateur championships; John Traub’s 1-iron that was instrumental in his 1980 National Club Professional Championship; Meg Mallon’s autographed team bag from a triumphant American Solheim Cup victory: Jeff Roth’s autographed bag from the 1996 PGA Cup; Ted Woehrle’s stimpmeter; and the autographs from the field of the 1947 PGA Championship at Plum Hollow including Sam Snead, Gene Sarazen and Ben Hogan.
