Peter Green

Peter Green is a premier golfer and has been for 5 decades. After graduating from North Carolina, Peter went to work for the family business and has worked as President since 1975.

Peter was awarded the honor of GAM Player of the Year 9 times and earned Player of the Decade for the 60s. His record earned him a runner up as player of the decade in the 80s.

Peter won 4 Michigan Amateur Championships in 4 different decades. In 1996 at the age of 55, he became the oldest player ever to win this Championship. He also won the GAM Championship twice and the Michigan Mid-Amateur once.

In 1960, he was runner up in the North South Amateur and has qualified for a total of 25 USGA Championships including 2 USGA Juniors, 16 USGA Amateurs, 3 USGA Opens, 3 USGA Mid-Amateurs, and 1 USGA Senior Amateur. He has had a distinguished career over 5 decades in which he made the GAM Honor Roll a record 29 times.
