Sam Kocsis

Sam Kocsis in the only Michigan native to win the U.S. Amateur Public Links, which he captured in 1955. He won the 1939 Western Junior, 1944 and 1954 Tri-State Championships, 1941 Michigan Amateur, 1951 NCAA and the 1984 Michigan Senior Open. Elected to the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame in 1987
