Tommy Armour Known as the "Silver Scot", Armour was considered one of the finest teachers of the game. Victorious in many tournaments, he is best remembered for his major titles – 1927 U.S. Open, 1931 British Open, and the 1930 PGA Championship. Elected to the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame in 1986. |
